Question
I have reasearched and found that "High levels of progesterone can cause frequent urination as progesterone acts like a diuretic." So my question is is it POSSIBLE the Depo Provera shot COULD cause frequent urination (I was diagnosed with Interstitial Cystitis and my main symptom is the feeling of a UTI making me "go" frequently)? Thanks for your time.

Answer
Hi Dawn,

Thanks for your question. I was not able to find this connection? If you have the links for this information, could you send it to me by email. My address is DCHERYL51@yahoo.com and just put ALLEXPERTS in the subject line. If what you are saying is true, then I would agree that it could be possible. But like I said, I can't verify those facts. Please also consult your doctor about this information and your situation.  Let me know what you find out.

Sincerely,
Diane Cheryl
