Question
I had unprotected sex early in the morning then took morning after pills at around 1pm.I later had unprotected sex the same afternoon around 4pm.
I'd like to find out exactly how the morning after works,if the pill I took @ 1pm will could have still been effective @ 4pm.
Thanx

Answer
Hi Lin,

I don't advise the morning after pill. I have read a lot about this and it seems unhealthy to me. Check out the article at http://www.optionline.org or do a search online and see what you find out. Also, I don't think that "protected" sex is really very safe as there is never 100% chance that you won't get pregnant. Also, in that article I referred you to, I think it said that it isn't advisable to take the morning after pill repeatedly. Let me know if I can help you in any other way. You may email me privately at DCHERYL51@yahoo.com and hope to hear from you soon.

Sincerely,
Diane Cheryl
