Birth Control/period

Question
Hi! I'm 17 and i have never had my period before.Could there be something wrong?

Answer
Hi Courtney,

Most likely you are just not starting your period yet. I don't think I started my period until I was your age or maybe even 18. I just remember that every girl in my class had probably started except me.
Have you talked to your mom about it? My mom had told me she was late starting too so I felt better about it then. You could always have a doctor checkup just to make sure but I'm thinking your period should start soon. I'm not a doctor though. And possibly your eating habits could be a factor. Ask your mom or doctor.

Sincerely,
Diane Cheryl
