Question
Hi,
I was prescribed Kelnor a couple months ago and I've had a lot of stomach problems since then. I'm wondering if it would still be active for awhile if i stopped taking it until I can see my doctor in a couple months and if there is another birth control pill that hasn't caused as much sickness. Thank you
Amanda

Answer
Hi Amanda,

Thanks for your question. No, the birth control pill would not still be active if you didn't take it for a couple of months. Anytime you have sex, you can get pregnant. The only 100% sure birth control method is abstinence. Any kind of birth control can have side effects, risks, etc.

I don't recommend that you use any kind of hormonal birth control methods for health reasons. So I can't prescribe any medication in this instance. Most birth control methods has problems of some sort. If you email me at DCHERYL51@yahoo.com we can talk more if you want.

Sincerely,
Diane Cheryl
