I am 29. On the 21 of Feb. I had sex, the next week, on the 1st of March had my period. It ended the 5th, which is a usually cycle for me. He and I had sex the 7th. We didn't use anything, but he did pull out. I panicked when I got home and found my b.c pills that I stopped taking months ago because they were making me sick. I took one and 12 hrs later took another one.  The 14th of this month I started very lightly spotting, today (the 15th) it seems I started a light period. Is this normal? Before the 14th, the week of the 9th up to the 14th I felt cramping and was feeling my usual p.m.s signs. IE: cramps, emotional, slightly tender breasts. I also have been under a huge amount of stress, could that be what's wrong? Can you please help me, I'm kind of scared. Thanks

Answer
I think the stress you've been under is probably responsible for your unusual bleeding.  Stress will throw your hormones all out of balance.  It seems very unlikely that you are pregnant.  As long as your period on March 1 was a normal one, you weren't pregnant at that time.  If you had gotten pregnant on March 7, you wouldn't have any symptoms  of it yet.  A pregnancy test will usually be positive 14 days after you get pregnant, so if you have doubts you could do one on March 21.  But most likely everything is from the stress.  If the stress gets resolved, your body will get back to normal.  Best wishes.
