Question
i had unprotected sex on the 23rd jan this year and then i started taking microgynon about 2 -3 weeks later and i bled for 23 days exactally. so i decided to come off the pill and i have been off the pill for about a month now and i am showing signs of possible pregnancy. but could i be pregnant from jan?? please help me thank you x

Answer
Why not?  You'd be a little over 10 weeks pregnant now (We measure from 2 weeks before you got pregnant).  Do a test to be sure.  It's one reason to always start the pill during or just after a period, so you know you're not pregnant.  If you are pregnant, the bleeding was a sign of threatened miscarriage, but since it stopped everything may be normal now.  Taking the pill when you're early pregnant isn't recommended, but it probably doesn't do any harm.  Get a test soon.  Maybe you're not pregnant at all.
