Question
I have a pack of birth control at my house and my boyfriends for when I sleep over incase I forget the one at my house. I forgot to change the date on the packs at my boyfriends house, my pack started on a wed. The one at his house said monday so instead of taking a monday pill I took a week behind. Will taking the wrong date make my period late?

Answer
Hi Michelle,

It depends on if you are taking the regular pills or placebo pills at the time that you did this. Also, pregnancy would be a risk. Also, I don't know what brand of pills you are taking. I don't recommend hormonal birth control because of side effects, short and long-term. Also, having two packs is probably going to get you confused like the situation you are talking about. Tell me when your next period is due and let me know what happens. You can email me privately at DCHERYL51@yahoo.com and would love to talk to you more. I'm not sure your age but if you email me, I could send you some helpful links. If you are a teen, check this one out
