Birth Control/Birth Control Nausea

Question
My girlfriend had never taken birth control pills before.
She started taking her first pack of Zovia 1/35e on Sunday, March 8th. When she started this first pack of pills, she said she felt nauseous and sick for the first few days.
She had been taking them at night so the nausea was less severe as well.
Three weeks later, on the sunday before she started taking her placebo pills, we had unprotected sex for the first time on Sunday the 29th and i finished inside of her.
She started taking her placebo pills and she said she had had her period after that, but it was very light, as expected because of the birth control pills.
After this, we had been having unprotected sex a few times, but i had not been finishing inside of her.
It is now April 9th and she had just started a new pack of birth control pills. She said she'd been feeling sick and nauseous lately and not just in the morning. She said it was worse in the morning, but she felt nauseous on and on throughout the day.
We are very worried that she may be pregnant.
What are the chances that she is?
What are some more signs that we should be looking for?
Is there a way to find out whether or not she's pregnant before she misses her period?
Please help, we are very stressed out about this and don't really know where to go from here.

Answer
You can go to http://www.optionline.org to find more information about pregnancy. You can also find a local center there to get a free pregnancy test.

There is a chance of pregnancy every time that you have sex, "protected" or unprotected. There is no birth control method that can guarantee 100% no pregnancy. The only way of guaranteeing 100% no pregnancy is abstinence. Is that a possibility in your life right now?
Please consider this.
