Question
I stopped taking the pill mid-cycle when my husband and I had unprotected sex
after missing a dose, we decided also at the time that we were ready for another
baby, I was wondering if I could be pregnant, and should I see the doctor about
trying to and anything that would help speed up the process?

Answer
Hi Sabrina,

Thanks for your question. Yes, I would think you should consult your doctor about this. You can get a pregnancy test when you miss your next period or have any pregnancy symptoms. To find a free pregnancy center to have your free test done, go to http://www.optionline.org or call 1-800-395-HELP. Another website to try for this is
http://www.heartbeatinternational.org/worldwide_directory.asp

The only thing I know about speeding up the process would be to do a search about Natural Family Planning. Also, there is an expert, Brigid on allexperts.com who might be able to advise you further.

Sincerely,
Diane Cheryl
