Hi,
I was wondering if there is any herbal remedy for breast pain.  I have been having breast pain on the out side of my right breast for about 7 months, sometimes it's like a muscle pain and sometimes it's like a burning sensation... I went to the doctor and to have an ultra sound but all they said was it's probably related to hormones but I have never heard of any ones hormones causing constant pain in the chest area... it all started when I was on the nuva ring could that have had something to do with it?  I cant afford to go to the doctor any more and i don't want to get on any medication so what else can i do?

Thanks for your question. No, I don't know any remedy for breast pain. It does sound like something you should be concerned about.

I have heard of side effects from the Nuva Ring but I haven't heard of this particular side effect. I don't know what else the doctor's could do besides perform tests on you to find out what is the cause. I know you said you cannot afford any more doctors but if you could possibly get to some clinic that is free or low-cost, perhaps you could get another opinion on this. Oh, and have you had blood work done? Have any other tests been done besides ultrasound?
