Question
im 17 and want to get married in a year i dont want kids til im done with school and i will need birth control can i get it behind the counter or so i have to make an appointment?

Answer
I assume you're referring to birth control pills.  In the U.S. you need to get a prescription from a doctor or health practitioner in order to get the pill.  In some countries I believe you can get it over the counter.  There are other methods of birth control that you can get over the counter, such as condoms and foam, but they're not as effective as the pill.  There is more information about birth control here http://www.cdc.gov/reproductivehealth/UnintendedPregnancy/Contraception.htm
