Question
I am 20yrs and stopped taking birth control. I was taking a pregesterone only pill for about 5mths now. About 3wks ago I was taking ammoxicillian for bronchitis while I was taking my pill. During that time I had unprotected sex. I stopped taking my pills about 2wks ago, and still no period. Is there a chance that I could be pregnant? (By the way, my doc never told me antibiotics could decrease effectivness.)

Answer
Yes, Kellie,

It's possible that you could be pregnant. See if you develop any pregnancy symptoms or if you have your next period. If you want to get a free pregnancy test, go to http://www.optionline.org or call 1-800-395-HELP and find a pregnancy resource center near you if possible. Or try this website
