Iv had the copper coil in for about 6 months and up to now had no problems with it before then I used the impant but this messed up my period cycle (i had a 4 month long period then nothing for 6 months etc). Anyway for the last 3 weeks or so Iv started getting heartburn at least once a day (usually when im hungry) as well as bad heartaches which sometimes make me feel dizzy. I had my period 9 days ago and am now spotting light pink blood/fluid. I know heartburn and headaches can sometimes b a sign of pregnancy but as I have the copper coil im just confused. Could the heartburn and headaches be complelty unrelated to the spotting or the spotting have something to do with the coil?? or should i b worried about pregnancy?? Thankyou for any help or advice you can offer.

Assuming that your period 9 days ago was a normal one, pregnancy is very unlikely.  It's more likely that the headaches and spotting are related to stress or something else going on with you.  Pregnancy occasionally happens with a coil, so if you really think you might be, you could do a pregnancy test.  I'd probably save my money, at least for now.  I would consider how much stress you have and what you might do about it (reduce it or increase exercise, etc.).
