Question
i am 21, and i have never been on birth control. I am completely new to all forms of it but i was reading about Vaginal Contraceptive Film and i had a few questions that i was hoping you could answer.  First, how effective is it when using by itself?  2nd, Does it have a bad taste or odor?  and 3rd if it is supposed to last for 3 hours then why do you need to use a new film after each intercourse?  I am allergic to condoms and i smoke so i cant use the pill, so if VCF's aren't a good choice then what would you recommend for me? Thanks for reading and i appreciate your time

Answer
Dear Tiffany,

Thanks for your question. Please email me at DCHERYL51@yahoo.com so I can do some research on this and get back with you. I'm sorry I was not able to answer yet. I don't usually recommend hormonal birth control so this sounds interesting to me. I always try to suggest abstinence if this is an option. Anyway, hope to hear from you soon and in the meantime, I'll do some research about Vaginal Contraceptive Film.

Sincerely,
Diane Cheryl
