Question
At the beginning of March 2009 I started using the depo shot. I was due to take my second shot at the beginning of June 2009, but I missed it. At the beginning of May I started my period and it lasted until the end of June. After I missed my shot I had sex and about a week later my period stopped all of a sudden. It is now almost the end of July and I still havent started my period again. Could I be pregnant? help me please !

Answer
Since you missed your shot and had sex, pregnancy is possible.  How likely it is depends on how long after you missed the shot that you had sex.  If it was only a few days, pregnancy is unlikely.  If it was more than that, pregnancy gets more likely.  I don't think your bleeding stopped because of pregnancy, since it was only 1 week after you had sex.  Some bleeding during the first 3-6 months on the shot is common.  Your bleeding may have stopped just because the effects of the shot were getting out of your system.  And after stopping the shot, it sometimes takes a few months for your period to come.  I would get a pregnancy test to find out, then use some kind of birth control if you don't wish to be pregnant.
