Question
I've had the implanon in for over a year, i just didn't get on with it as i constantly had periods. i had it removed the other day, that same day i started the microgynon pill, but had unprotected sex that night. I've heard that it takes a while for the pill to kick in, I'm worried that I'm pregnant especially as i think I'm having pregnancy symptoms. can you please shed some light on the matter

Answer
Hello Anna,

Have you had any more pregnancy symptoms and what symptoms? I can't tell you the chances of being pregnant but you will have to wait to see. See if you miss a period. Also, you can contact a pregnancy resource center and get a free test there. Find a local one by going to http://www.optionline.org or call 1-800-395-HELP. If not in U.S.

Please email me at DCHERYL51@yahoo.com and let me know what happens.
Put ANNA-ALLEXPERTS in the subject line so I can recognize you.
