Birth Control/breast excretions after stopping bc

Question
My daughter took birth control for about 3 years and decided to stop last month. She has not been active, yet she seems to be having discharges from breasts. Could this be a side effect of stopping the bc? Is it common for that to happen?

She says what if I am pregnant, and I explained to her that sperm cannont live in the female reproductive environment for three months and that lactation starts after the baby is delivered.

Could the hormonal changes in her body make her milk come in after stopping the pill?

Answer
Dear Sunny,

In response to your last question, I suppose that could happen but I have not heard of this. I probably would like to do some research and you can email me at DCHERYL51@yahoo.com so we can discuss this. Also, consult your private physician about this matter. I'm glad your daughter went off the birth control and I hope her body will get back to natural. Hope to hear from you soon by email and put ALLEXPERTS in the subject line. How old is your daughter?

Thanks.
Diane Cheryl
