Birth Control/no period, or late period?

Question
I started taking my birth control pills mid june, and should have gotten my period mid july. However, i didnt get my period, or what i believe is my period until the end of july. Now that its almost over, i only have a couple more active pills until my inactive ones. Should I skip my inactive pills, and go straight to the active ones, or should i keep on taking them as regular?

Answer
I would keep on taking them as regular.  Although you may get another period when you take the inactive ones, it will be when it's supposed to be, and may help get you back on schedule.  Irregular bleeding is common when you first start the pill.  It usually corrects itself in a month or two.
