Question
Hi Can you help me out? I was due to start my new pill pack on Tuesday 15th Dec but didn't start until Fri 18th, we had sex the following Thurs 24th and I was just wondering if there would be an incresed chance of pregnancy? I have continued to take the pill as normal and am due to finish the pack on Thurs 7th Jan
thanks

Answer
Naomi,

There should not be too great a chance of pregnancy if you had been taking months of pills before this point. But there is always a small chance of pregnancy even with any kind of birth control method. No method is 100% safe from pregnancy possibilities or STDs.

I don't recommend any kind of hormonal birth control. If you read my other replies to women, I mention some of the common side effects and risks of hormonal birth control. Also, you can email me at CHERYL51@aol.com and I can send you more information.

Hope to hear from you soon.

Sincerely,
Diane Cheryl
