Question
Hello, so I am confused and need help. I havent been very consistent in taking the pill (ortho-tri-cyclen) for the last few months because i didnt need to.  well now I need to, and started a new pack, but is this going to still be effective if I wasnt consistent before?  It also says to start it on your period, which i did not do.  Do you Have to start it on your period, or will it still work?  So basically i just picked up where I left off at, and am wondering if it will still be effective, after i have taken it for a month or so that is consistently.  Thanks

Answer
Dear MissKitty,

Thanks for your question. I would follow the instructions on the birth control if I were you and not take it according to what you think. I don't really advise people to use any kind of hormonal birth control methods. There are risks and future problems that could happen in the future from these hormones, Have you done any research on this subject?

Let me know what all is happening. My private email address is CHERYL51@aol.com so hope to hear from you soon.
