Question
I gave birth to my son on June 24th of this year and have been taking Jovilette
birth control now for a little over a month. I have had two regular periods and
I just finished my second cycle today on October 27. I had unprotected sex
today and am freaking out because I do not want another child.I am informed
that there is the 1% chance of pregnancy, but this is my first time taking
contraceptives, so I am seeking expert opinion on the likelihood of being
pregnant while on birth control and on a cycle.

Answer
Hi Shari,

I don't know if my opinion would be any better than anyones. I can't tell you what the percentage of chance is but there is a chance of pregnancy. What is your situation?

I don't know if this is of any help to you but other women have had children close together. And sometimes it's a good thing because the 2 children have a close relationship when they are growing up. But like I said, I don't know your lifestyle situation.

Can you email me at CHERYL51@aol.com so we can talk more? Hope to hear from you soon. Please put ALLEXPERTS in the subject line of your email.
