Birth Control/could I be pregnant

QuestionIs it possible I am pregnant, even though my urine home tests show negative?
I am on the birth control pill and take it regularly. Last month a week before I was to start my period (Sept 18) I had the worst cramps of my life, and severe constipation. I did indeed have a small period 2 days Sept 28, and 29. Normally I have periods for at least 5 to 6 days. The period was much slower, spotting at first, and much lighter, and bright red. It floated in water like oil might. Then until October 6 or so I had the worst headaches and nausea, it would come on like waves like clockwork at 11:00am and then at 2:00 and would then dissapear. I also had severe cramping. I continued to have headaches. Last week my nipple when I gently squeezed, secreted a yellowish white fluid. my breasts also are much more tender, and my areolas have periods where they look really swollen. Also as of yesterday, I have small bumps that look like Montgomery tubercles. I took a pregnancy test again today and it was negative. I am supposed to start my placebo on Sunday and get my period next wednesday. Am I crazy for t hinking I could be pregnant even though my urine tests are negative?
AnswerAs long as the urine test was done on a first morning urine, I don't think you're pregnant. A pregnancy test will almost always be positive by the time a woman has symptoms. Is it possible that many of your symptoms are due to stress? The fluid from your nipple should be checked by your doctor if it persists. It's called galactorrhea, and is occasionally caused by a small pituitary tumor or a thyroid problem. When you see your doctor for that, your other symptoms can also be evaluated.
