Question
I have had Mirena for over a year and not had many poblems. though I now have a large cist on one of my ovaries(runs in my family.) My doctor put me on Loestrin for 2 months to reduce the size of the cist... I was told that some BCP's can counter act eachother inpreventing pregnancy, is that the case with Mirena and Loestrin?

Answer
Hi Taylor,

You will have to consult your doctor about this. I won't be able to predict what could happen. Your health is of the utmost importance.
