Birth Control/Quick Start

Question
Will starting the pill for the first time using the Quick
Start method - specifically, starting it two weeks after your
normal period start date, delay your next period an extra week
(that is, delay it until you get to the placebo week)?

Answer
It may or may not delay your next period an extra week.  It's more likely that it will result in some bleeding or spotting during the first pack of pills.  In general you're better off starting during a period, making it much less likely that you'll have breakthrough bleeding.
