Question
I forgot to take my pill this past friday. I usually take my pill at 7pm each day. I didn't notice I forgot my pill until saturday at 9pm when I went to take my pill for saturday. I took both pills together.  My boyfriend and I had sex on Sunday which was unprotected and he did cum inside of me. Should I be worried? I have been on birth control for over 2 years and have never had any problems with it before. Please help

Answer
Since you missed only one pill and took it 1 day later, chance of pregnancy is quite low.  You could make it even lower by taking Plan B within 72 hours.  In the future if you miss a pill, it may be worthwhile to use backup contraception for 7 days.  However, even without doing anything, chance of pregnancy is very low.  The pill is highly effective when taken every day.  Effectiveness decreases with every pill that's missed.  Best wishes.
