Birth Control/stopped oral bc pill after 3 months...no period

Question
I was on a combined hormone pill for 3 months after
having a baby. When my husband had vasectomy
done and test came back normal, I stopped taking
pill to try to build up milk to continue breast feeding.
Could the breast feeding be affecting not having my
period even 2 months after stopping pills? She's only
nursing 3 or 4 times a day. If u can't answer this
question that's ok...I saw Ur details but I was hoping
maybe there'd be an explanation pertaining to the
pills themselves. Thank you for Ur time.

Answer
Dear Sharla,

I think that when you are breastfeeding you will not have a period. My daughter was breastfeeding and I think that is what she told me.
I don't recommend birth control pills in general because of the hormonal content. I don't believe this is healthy for a woman's body and health. Hope this helps. If you ever want to talk more my personal email address is CHERYL51@aol.com

Bye for now.
