QuestionI had been on yasmin/ocella for about 3 years but two months ago I switched to Lostrin 24 Fe. Am i more likely to get pregnant now because i switched? I didn't wait until I took my last inactive pill I just went ahead and started taking the Lostrin. Since I've been on this new pill I've had nausea, headaches, major weight gain, fatigue, %26 I've been more moody then usual. I'm also on Zoloft and Seroquel and usually I'm happy but that's changed within the last couple of weeks. Please Help. Thanks Danielle
AnswerHi Danielle,
You're not more likely to become pregnant, but it sounds like the Loestrin isn't agreeing with you very well. Unless there is some other change that could be causing all your symptoms, I would ask your doctor to try another pill or go back to the Yasmin/Ocella. Normally a change like you made wouldn't cause any real symptoms, but some pills just don't agree with some women. Best wishes.
