Birth Control/Morning after pill

Question
Hello,

My girlfriend and I had a condom break on the last day of her period.  We took the morning after pill that same afternoon, maybe 12-15 hours after the incident.  She is not on any other birth control.  We had sex again that night, and had the same experience.  We were trying a new brand of condom because the basic Trojan Magnum is not very pleasurable.  The second time I could tell as it happened during the sex not during climax.  I changed to the old style, the regular Trojan Thin not the new Trojan Ecstasy and had no problems.

My girlfriend called planned parenthood today, 72 hour deadline, and they told her that she needed to go to the store and take another dose of the morning after pill.  This didn't sit right with me as I know that is a huge dose of hormones.  Is this good advice given the situation I just described?  Should we go get another dose for her to take?

Any information you can give would be very helpful.  Thank you.

Answer
I would not recommend for her to take another dose. You are right about the huge dose of hormones. Please read the article at http://www.optionline.org/map.html
