Birth Control/depot shot

Question
Hello, I have been on the "shot" for about two months now. A couple weeks ago I got my wisom teeth extracted and was given vicodin for the pain. I'm worried it will make the shot less effective. Is there anything that does make it less effective? Thanks for your time.

Answer
I looked this up on the internet and really can't find any information. I would think it might interact so be cautious. Or ask your doctor. There is never any birth control method that is 100% effective in preventing pregnancy or sexually transmitted diseases. So I would ask you to be careful. Please email me at CHERYL51@aol.com and let's talk more.

Sincerely,
