Question
Hello, I have been taking my ortho tri cyclen for quite awhile now and i got my new pack today, i was supposed to get it yesterday but was unable to. SO i had to take two pills today, well i had accidently misplaced the first active pill(sunday pill) I dropped it and i have no idea where it went. Is this an issue?

Answer
It could be a small problem but I wouldn't think it would be too serious. But you can ask your doctor for sure. I don't generally recommend birth control pills because it is a hormonal method. If you could, change to a non-hormonal method because of health reasons, in my opinion.
Also, any birth control method is NOT 100% safe in preventing pregnancy. So even if you took all your pills absolutely correctly, there is still a small risk of pregnancy. Let me know what happens. My email address is CHERYL51@aol.com
