Birth Control/starting pill before period is due

Question
I was recently prescribed birth control(Tri-Previfem). 3 weeks ago, I took two Plan B's (emergency contraceptives) within the same week. I have not received my period, and it has been 41 days since. I started my birth control 2 days ago, despite I haven't received my period.

I was planning on having unprotected sex 6 days from now. Is there an estimate on when I will get my period again? How long will it take to be effective on my acne, period, and protection against pregnancy?

Thank you.

Answer
Plan B can throw off your period.  However, since it's been 41 days, I would do a pregnancy test to be sure you're not pregnant.  Since you're starting somewhere in the middle of your cycle, you're not protected until you've been on the pill for at least 7 days.  As far as your acne, you may see some difference the first month of use.
