QUESTION: Hi  my name is catherine and I'm 17 I started birth control on march 29 of this year so it's about time I'm sopost to start my period today is the 17 of April and I usually start on the 12 or 17 I recently did something with my boyfriend. We didn't have sex but he put his penis in me  for a fre min teasing me  with out a condom he says he didn't cum in me but I am still scared should I be worried about this cause I can't get pregnent at my age ! I have been taking the birth control every day at the same time  last few wensdays I took it a few hours eariler but would that effect me at all k have asked all my friends what I should do and I'm still realllly scared please help me asap thank you

ANSWER: Hi Catherine,

Never put yourself in a situation where a guy can do something like this. Stay in public situations, not private. Yes, you can get pregnant with him doing that even if he didn't ejaculate. Also, you can get pregnant at your age. Many girls/women do get pregnant and even have a baby at your age. Even if you are taking birth control pills, there still is a chance of pregnancy. I would urge you to see if your next period starts ok or you start developing pregnancy symptoms. QUESTION: Thank you and I'm not pregnent my period finally came late but can you be pregnent if your on your period I was always curious about that ?  I kno to be careful I have been on the pill I will be alright now

There is a small chance you could be pregnant and still have your period but I wouldn't stress over it. Just watch to see if you develop any pregnancy symptoms and/or miss your next period. Please consider "second virginity" and check out http://www.teenbreaks.com
