Birth Control/Birth Control Patch

Question
1. Although people recommend start using the patch on the first day of period, can I start using the patch any time after period if I use condom for the first 7 days of the cycle?

2. Is the patch still effective in the fifth week, which is the first week of the second cycle for the patch? Or do I have to use another method?

Answer
Hi Nana,

I really can't advise you to use the patch. There have been many reports of the dangers of the patch. I would urge you to do some research on another kind of birth control method. Please email me privately at CHERYL51@aol.com so we can talk further.

Sincerely,
Diane Cheryl
