Question
OK, I'm taking Ocella. The month before last i had skipped my period, last month i had my period like normal. So this month i decided to skip due to a vacation, and i figured that since it had not affected me in any harmful ways last time i skipped, i could do it again. But now I'm having spotting. Like brownish red, and its not a lot. So i wanna know if i should go see my doctor or just not worry about it not skip in the near future. PLEASE help!!

Answer
Skipping a period sometimes works and sometimes doesn't.  I don't think you need to see a doctor.  Some spotting is not unusual when you try to skip a period.  If the spotting is very much, you can just stop the pill for 4 days, let the period come, then re-start.  Just don't go less than 21 days without a pill, or you're not protected.  As long as you've gone longer than 21 days, you can stop anytime for 4-7 days, then re-start.
