Birth Control/Switched pills

Question
I have been on the pill for almost 4 years, 9 months ago I had a baby and i switched birth control. That pill made my periods irregular so I switched to Loestrin 24 on 5/16.It instantly caused nausea. It begins as soon as i wake up and goes on and off through out the day. Its nothing extreme, just a little painful and annoying. 5/22 I missed a pill, and then I had sex that night. 5/23 I took two pills like instructed, and then that evening i found brownish-pink blood in my discharge. It only lasted an hour or two if that. I've never had break through bleeding before on anyother pill. Should I be concerned?

Answer
I don't think you need to be concerned.  The break through bleeding is likely due to missing a pill, even though it's never happened to you before.

If the nausea persists, I would try a different pill.  There are so many choices now, sometimes it's just a matter of trying a different one to find what works best for you.
