Question
I am currently taking Loestrin 24 FE. Yesterday I was supposed to take the last brown pill of  my pack but mistakenly I took a white pill. Should I just throw out the brown pill and keep taking pills from the new pack ? My start day is Saturday so should I just change it to Friday ? Also, I am still protected from pregnancy?

Answer
Stacy,

I don't think taking one pill wrong would chance much in your cycle. But I would advise you to ask your doctor just to make sure. Did you change your start day or what did you do?

I don't recommend birth control pills or any kind of hormonal birth control methods. I have studied this subject and have found side effects and risks to women's health from these hormones. I recommend non-hormonal birth control methods. Please email me at CHERYL51@aol.com and we can talk more.

Hope to hear from you soon
