Question
Hi,

I have worried myself sick. I am 26 years old. I have 2 children. Ages 6 and 9 months. I'm currently taking Ortho Tri Cyclen LO and have been for 6 months. Well the first 4 months or so I had no real problems with the pill. Then I got a period on May 30th while I was still on the ACTIVE pills. It wasn't spotting, it was a full period. From Tuesday until Sunday. That was the week BEFORE the inactive pills. So when it was time to start the inactive pills I just went straight into another pack because I'd already had a period. Now it's July and I haven't had a period yet. Went through one full cycle, including inactive pills and nothing. I am really worried. Should I be? Thank youy!

Answer
Dear Ashley,

This could be from the change in birth control pill cycles. I don't recommend that you change your natural cycle because it could cause health problems.

You didn't mention if you are sexually active but if you are, it's a possibility that you could be pregnant. Please email me at CHERYL51@aol.com so we can talk more. Hope to hear from you soon.

Sincerely,
Diane Cheryl
