Birth Control/Quit my birth control mid pack

Question
I quit taking Junel Fe mid cycle. It has been 8 days and I have yet to get a withdrawal bleed. I had unprotected intercourse in the days following up to quitting the pill, and have used the withdrawal method since then. I took a pregnancy test this morning and it was negative. Is there still the possibility that I am pregnant? Why would I NOT get the withdrawal bleeding?
A pregnancy would be a welcome "surprise"

Answer
Dear Lynette,

Did you find out if you are pregnant? Do you want to be (it sounds like it)? I recommend going to a pregnancy resource center to get a free pregnancy test, You can find a center on http://www.optionline.org or call 1-800-395-HELP. There is also a directory of centers at http://www.heartbeatservices.org and click on the globe in the upper right hand corner.

Let me know how you are doing. My private email address is CHERYL51@aol.com
