Question
I recently started taking the birth control pill Quasense which is supposed to allow me to get my period only every three months. The problem is I started taking it before i got my period and now I'm concerned about any possible risks of having what was supposed to come out during my period inside of me for three extra months, or more or less considering i just started. Please get back to me. Thanks.

Answer
Gwen,

I don't recommend trying to alter your natural cycle. I don't believe this is healthy for a woman. You may think it would be convenient but I have gotten reports from women that this practice caused real health problems in their lives.

You could consult your doctor about what to do. How often do you take Quasense? Please email me at CHERYL51@aol.com and let me know more. You can email me there privately and put ALLEXPERTS in the subject line of your email. Looking forward to hearing from you.
