Birth Control/Could I be pregnant?

Question
I started my last period on December 24th then had sex 8 days later. I am on the pill and also he pulled out but I just realized I am one pill behind. I don't know when I missed it. On January 8 I started bleeding, like a very light period. Is it possible that this is implantation bleeding? Or is this just a result of a missed pill? Should I take two at once to make it up?

Answer
Jessica, How many pills do you have to go? If you have started bleeding or are close to the end, I would say, just don't take the pill at this point. But ask your doctor to be sure. I don't want to advise anything that might harm you. Generally, I don't recommend birth control pills because they have hormones in them that can cause side effects. You can email me at we can talk more. And tell me what you ended up doing? My private email address is CHERYL51@aol.com so hope to hear from you soon.
