Question
I started my birth control last month on a random Sunday, and didn't wait until the Sunday after my period is over (so my period is not in sync with the placebo pills yet). I'm on the second pack now, and I got my period during the second week of the active pills. Can I get pregnant during the placebo pills this month, because I don't have my period that week? And will my body soon regulate so my period coincides with the placebo pills?

Answer
Ciara,

Please ask your doctor about this. I'm not sure but perhaps you should stop and start again at the proper time. But like I said, I'm not a medical doctor so please check. I don't recommend the birth control pill, generally, because of hormones and side effects and risks. I also don't recommend any kind of hormonal birth control method.
