Birth Control/Early Period on Birth Control Pill

Question
I have been on the same brand of BC ( Marvelon) for about 6 months I had problems with breakthrough bleeding the first few months but then it cleared up. Well yesterday I started spotting and it continued today but a bit heavier, this has come a week early. I was expecting my period next week and still have a week left of the BC pills. Should I continue taking the last week or just stop and let my period come?

Thank You

Answer
Liz, I'm sorry for the delay in answering due to circumstances beyond my control. So what happened in your situation? Did you have a period? What happened about your birth control pills? Have you had any other problems with your birth control pills? The reason I'm asking is because I have heard stories about side effects and risks from using hormonal birth control methods. Please email me at CHERYL51@aol.com and tell me more about your situation and if you have any more questions.

Sincerely,
Diane Cheryl
