Question
Hi,I am a regular user of yasmin 21 day pack.I had sex on the 14th of this month and realised right after that I had missed a pill for that day.I took this pill immediately and took the next one as usual the following day. This is during the second week of the pack.I have never missed a pill before. Please advice if any further steps required.
Thanks

Answer
Hi Sheena,

Thanks for your question. In your situation, what you did with the pills was probably the best decision you could have made. However, I would like you to do some research about the birth control pill and side effects and risks. I don't recommend it or any kind of hormonal birth control method because of those problems.

Also, even if you take all the birth control pills correctly or safely, there is still a chance of pregnancy. If you want to get a free pregnancy test, go to this website http://www.optionline.org or call 1-800-395-HELP. Another helpful website is http://www.heartbeatservices.org
