Birth Control/Becoming pregnant after an iud is removed

Question
I had my paragard IUD removed on on the 4th of this month. The day before it was removed(the 3rd) my husband and I had unprotected sex. I think i am due to ovulate around the 6th or 7th of this month. Is it possible to get pregnant from having sex the day before it was removed?

Answer
If you ovulate on the 6th or 7th, pregnancy is highly unlikely.  Sperm in general don't live more than 2 days, so sperm from the 3rd won't survive to the 6th.  Also, there is still some after effects on the uterine lining from the Paragard IUD, which would make pregnancy right away less likely.  Pregnancy is probably not impossible, but highly unlikely.
