Question
Ok so my girlfriend has been on the Oral birth control trisprintex for 6 months now. She takes all of her pills except the sugar pills. We had unprotected sex the day she got off of her period but she took an active pill about 6 hours later. Is there a stronge possibility or any that she may be pregnant?

Answer
Austin,

It's always possible for a pregnancy. There is no 100% safe method of birth control. So I really can't say. You will have to see if she develops any pregnancy symptoms or misses her next period. If you need a place to get a free pregnancy test later, you can go to http://www.optionline.org to find a center. or call 1-800-395-HELP. I don't know how old you are but I would ask you to consider refraining from sex at this time of your life to prevent pregnancy worries and/or STD possibility.

Sincerely,
Diane Cheryl
