Question
Hi,
I am a 19 year old female who was diagnosed with Polycistic Ovarian Syndrome at 15. I have been bounced around on birth control pills since then. I am currently on Loestrin 24. I am not happy with it because I seem to barely have periods what are some other effective methods of receiving enough estrogen to counter act my POS but still remain efficient as birth control? Thanks.

Answer
Mary,

I really don't know the answer to this question. Can you ask your doctor? I will also do some research about your question and see if I can get you a good answer. I don't usually recommend birth control pills or any kind of hormonal birth control method. I don't like the side effects and risks of these hormonal methods.

Please email me at CHERYL51@aol.com and remind me of your question and the research I'm going to do. Thanks and hope to hear from you soon.

Sincerely,
Diane Cheryl
