Question
My normal 5 day period starts the day I take the first inactive pill.
Having taken all 7 sugar pills and without thinking more of it have had sex 2 days after my period ended and on the last inactive pill. Is there a possibility of fertilisation?

Answer
Meg, You should be ok but there is always the possiblity of pregnancy. There is no method of birth control that is 100% safe in preventing pregnancy. Even if you take the pill absolutely correctly. So see if you have your next period and/or develop pregnancy symptoms. You can email me at CHERYL51@aol.com and let me know any updates.

Sincerely,
Diane Cheryl

P.S. Do you have any side effects from the pill? Just curious. I don't usually recommend any kind of hormonal birth control method because of that.
