Question
I am 40 yrs old and have been on birth control pills for a long time.  I missed my pill recently, it was the 10th pill in the pack.  I took it the next day and haven't missed another since.  My husband & I had sex the day BEFORE the missed pill.  I am supposed to start my period this upcoming week.  I am terrified that I could be pregnant, although I have no symptoms.  What are the chances, since I only missed one pill?

Answer
Hi Liz,

Sorry I did not get your question until now. Did you start your period or have pregnancy symptoms? Please let me know. It is possible to be pregnant even if you take all the pills correctly. There is no birth control method that is 100% safe in preventing pregnancy. Please email me at CHERYL51@aol.com and hope to hear from you soon.
