Question
i started my new pack of pills and instead of going down as the arrows indicates, i started going straight across the top but on day 3 or 4 is when i then realized that i should have gone down. so once i realized what i had done i didn't know what to do...like if i should of kept going the way i first started or do i go down like im supposed to?...so i started going down.my question is will it alter or have any affect on me because i took them in a weird order? example will it mess up my period, could i spot, or could it cause me to become pregnant?

thanks

Answer
Hi Crystal,

Sorry for the delay. I wasn't able to give you timely advice so how did things turn out? You could have been ok or your cycle could have been altered. I would like you to email me at CHERYL51@aol.com and let me know any updates. Hope to hear from you soon.

P.S. There is never a birth control method, including the pill, that can totally be 100% guaranteed to be safe from pregnancy. So yes, that is possible. If you do ever need a free pregnancy test, you can get one at a local pregnancy resource center. To find a center near you, go to this website http://www.optionline.org or call 1-800-395-HELP. Talk soon!
