Question
I started taking birth control for the first time this month but I only took it for 11 days. My boyfriend and I decided we wanted to try and have a baby. We tried for 5 days and all five days he finished inside me. But today, which would be my 6th day off the pill, I started bleeding and cramping which I'm thinking its my period. Is there anyway I could be pregnant? Or is this in fact my period?

Answer
When a woman stops taking the pill, her next ovulation is sometimes delayed, and it's very hard to predict when it might happen.  I think pregnancy is not likely.  I'm not sure just why you're having the bleeding now.  It may take a month or so to get back to your previous cycles.
